Last year August my wife and myself decided to visit Smithfield. We found an advertisment of Artists Colony Guest House in a Country Living magazine. I called and made a booking for two nights. On arrival we were welcomed with open arms and a sherry for the cold! Robert and Susan really pulled out all the stops to make us feel at home. Our room in "Karoo Cottage" was amazing and everything we needed was laid on. The breakfasts we had (home cooking) was out of this world. Robert and Susan's hospitality was phenomenal. Congratulations to both of you! Artists Colony Guest House, a very rare find indeed. I can highly recommend a stay with these lovely people and their amazing facilities. Thank you once again!Conrad and Jenny Cockcroft.
