Property Amenities
The accommodation at Café No Mar consists of five rooms each with en-suite bathroom. The rooms are of a very high standard with comfort and style as a priority. Four of the rooms have double beds and the fifth has twin beds. Each room has a private veranda which is screened from neighbouring guests and all face the ocean. 
Private walled gardens surround the rooms and there is off-road parking and 24 hour security. The rooms are stylishly decorated in an artistic manner with comfort in mind - all rooms are provided with fans and night gowns. Cool white cotton linen covers the beds and fresh towels are provided daily. Continental breakfast is included in your room rate and can be served either in the privacy of your room, the garden or in the restaurant.
Cafe No Mar provide airport transfers if required, plus daily transfers to and from Tofo Beach at 7am and 4pm for activities such as diving, horse riding etc.

Manta
Scuba Diving The scuba diving in Tofo is truly world class. Conditions are good for diving all year round. The summer months are best for seeing whalesharks. Although they are here all year, November to March are the best months to see them and the water is warm, around 28 degrees centigrade. During the winter months, April to October, there are humpback whales in the area and these can be spotted daily. Giant manta rays of a species so far seen only in these waters can be found on sites such as Manta Reef, The Oasis and Amazon. Cafe No Mar organize free transfers to Tofo for diving, and offer a whopping 15% discount on all diving activities booked with Diversity Scuba or Tofo Scuba!!
Surfing
Surfing Tofinho beach is renowned for being the surf capital of Mozambique. Café No Mar is based just a two minute walk from the best surf in the area. You can sit on your veranda and check out the surf conditions. The waves in Tofo are perfect for beginners and for the more experienced, go to Tofinho and Back Door beaches. If you don't have your board you can rent one from either The Waterworks Surf and Coffee Shop or Turtle Cove Surf Camp. The latter also provides lessons.
Riding
One of the best ways to see the beautiful stretches of beaches and stunning countryside surrounding Tofo is from horse back. Rides are one and a half hours along the beaches and through the dunes, villages and countryside. The horses are relaxed and well looked after and the guides are knowledgeable and experienced. Beginners can ride at a gentle walk or for the more experienced, enjoy a gallop along the beach through the surf.
Fishing
There is some excellent fishing to be done in Tofinho, both from the shore or boat and the area is known for its good game fishing. You need to bring your own equipment if you are fishing from shore but there are various fishing charters available that will take you out by boat for a chance to catch the big ones. The headland at Tofinho is a favourite with both locals and visitors.

Driving Directions:
Driving
If you wish to drive to Café No Mar, take the EN1 (the main road through Mozambique) and follow it until you get to the junction just south of Maxixe at Lindela. The road is mostly good condition tarmac although some areas are affected by potholes and in need of some maintenance. Once at the junction, follow the road all the way to Inhambane City. Once through Inhambane, another tarmac road (the EN259) follows the coast all the way to Tofo. All roads are clearly sign-posted.
If in difficulty, ask any of the friendly locals and they will direct you to the road to Tofo. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is NOT necessary as the tarmac road runs all the way down to the beach. However, particular caution is advised on the roads connecting the EN1 to Inhambane and Tofo, especially at night, due to a very uneven road surface.
