'Hakuna Majiwe' means 'place without stones' in Swahili. This beautiful beach hotel is set on a fabulous 6 kilometers white-sand palm fringed beach. Cooled by the ocean breeze, it makes the perfect getaway to an exotic African paradise.
The hotel consists of 20 rooms in beach bungalows, all facing the ocean. The rooms are decorated with contemporary island-style furniture and have all the necessary amenities, ideal for families, couples as well as individuals. Furthermore, Hakuna Majiwe offers a bus shuttle to and from the airport, a safe, a laundry service, a tailor’s shop, room service, relaxing massages and organizes and celebrates weddings.
The lodge has a PADI center/school, where scuba courses and patents and held, and where diving in different places of the archipelago are organized. Furthermore, they also organize excursions to the Jambiani Lagoon with goggles and nozzle, swimming through the oasis of the coral reef surrounded by the many colors of the fauna and flora located underneath. And for those who love walking and jogging ….. the 16 km of shore make up for a great gym, away from the European smog and noise.
