I visited with my wife and absolutely loved it. Staying in a water villa (facing east w/ a fantastic sunrise) you can literary jump in and out of the turquoise water all day from your private deck.
Yes its expensive as all of these resorts are. Once you accept that you will be paying through the nose (cheapest meal choice is a 40$ burger with your second option the 100$ buffet) you relax and have a great time.
I highly recommend that you try the spa, the private dinner on the beach, and of-course the snorkeling excursions to the reef (book early as they fill up). We also tried an excursion to a nearby island which was interesting but not my first choice.
Its not a vacation I can afford to take every year - but it is certainly worth it and I would love to go back. I highly recommend it.

This hotel is really amazing. I went there with my family, two adults and two kids. We took the deluxe beach villa. The villa was very very nice and suitable to kids as it is near the beach and spacious. It was my first time in the Maldives and i think we made a very good choice choosing this hotel. First of all the staff there make you feel like you are part of a one big family. Second i really like the option of having a kids club as it gave us (me and my hubby) the chance to spend some time to relax without having to take care of the kids. Third the food was very nice especially their seafood grill open buffet in the Islander restaurant. Fourth thing we really liked is having the kids menu in every restaurant which gives them a variety of options that most kids eat even picky eaters. Last but not least is the service, excellent staff and service which makes your holiday even more relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the Flavors restaurant as well. Excellent food the chef even is very nice would pass by tables to ask about the food and the service their is perfect too. The only comment i have is in the Bamboo restaurant the service was very slow. Thanks to the excellent management of this hotel that made us have a nice and relaxing holiday. Good job. Keep it up.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, extremely child-friendly with the best restaurants we have eaten since a long time.We have tried all the restaurants, and we had an over-the-top experience each time.High class food, top service, good price.We can highly recommend this hotel!
The most beautiful white beach with turquoise water we have ever imagined.Snorkeling was good, we saw many different fish, but it was not over the top.But we saw a turtle swimming in front of our beach villa, that was amazing. We did one doplhin-cruise, that was lovely.The villa was huge, we had a lot of space for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children), with 2 patios in front of our villa, and one patio in the outside-bathroom. 2 showers, so that the kids could have their shower in the same time than us.
Buggy-service was very good, but all the distances were absolutely ok to walk too.The djungle-pool was great too, very special design, very different.The food we had there very lunch was very good too and the staff was lovely.The staff in the breakfast-restaurant were all so nice, I felt leaving friends when we had to go back home.We will definitely be back very soon!
