Ideal for families. Sleeps up to 6 - double bed in 1 bedroom and two singles in the other bedroom plus 2 single beds in the lounge area that double as couches in the day. Also has outdoor dining area, little private garden with braai, equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer and gas cooker, nice bathroom with HOT water and undercover parking for 1 car.
CABANA
Sleeps 4 on single beds in 1 large airy room. The private veranda with a table and 4 chairs is surrounded by greenery. Clean shared ablution block with lovely HOT water and well equipped central kitchen. Lovely tropical setting in the palm trees and cosey family house.
BUSH CAMP
Rustic 2 Sleeper Huts. If you are looking for a budget holiday, and don't mind roughing it a bit, we have the Bush Camp huts - similar to camping, but you don't have to bring a tent. Clean shared ablution block with HOT water, shared kitchen and central boma under which to relax and share the day's fun with friends.
Tofo is world famous for the various reefs nearby and the superb diving sites. See Giant Manta, Whale Sharks, sea turtles and a whole underwater wonder-world.
There are 3 Scuba operators in the area, all very professional with friendly and enthusiastic Dive Masters and Instructors. Snorkeling in the area is great - can do a little bit off our rock reef here at Mango Beach, but for serious snorkelers, an Ocean Safari with one of the scuba companies is FANTASTIC - they drop you off with the whale sharks so you can swim with them - an experience of a life time.
Another very popular activity is the kayaking trips on the Inhambane lagoon. There are two types: mangrove tours and a full day island trip. The mangrove tour takes you into the mangrove system - great for bird watchers, while the island trip takes you back into time to experience traditional Mozambican hospitality, their food and a sailing trip on a dhow.
On most days the local surf spot at Tofinho is pumping with a great point break - no need to bring your board, simply rent one. Or if you don't feel like getting wet, let us arrange a leisurely trip along our deserted beach on horse back.
