Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Durban
On arrival at Durban International Airport, a representative meets you, and assists you to collect your hired vehicle. Begin your Eco exploration. Travel northwards to Maputaland, the northern-most region of KwaZulu-Natal, and one of the most unspoilt areas of the province, a region where the wonders of the African bush can be experienced first-hand.
Day 2: Maputaland (B)
KwaZulu-Natal is extremely proactive in preserving its exceptional natural heritage and the Maputaland Coastal Forest Reserve of the northeast corner of South Africa, is a World Heritage Site. The reserve stretches all the way from the Mozambique border in the north to Sodwana Bay in the south. This sub-tropical paradise encompasses pristine forests and wetlands with strings of lakes and marshes, and marine ecologies including deserted beaches and coral reefs. Spend today exploring the area at your leisure.
Day 3: Depart Maputaland (B)
Return to Durban after breakfast today, and drop off your hire car at Durban International Airport.
