Your speedboat transfer from Male' International Airport is a scenic, 55 minutes ride to this Eastern most resort island in the North Male’ Atoll. Seaplane transfers are also available.

From the moment we arrived at this island we were amazed at how beautiful it was. On arrival we were upgraded to a jacuzzi beach villa ( we had booked a standard beach villa on FB) and it was lovely, the food was amazing something to please everyone (my husband especially liked his freshly made morning omelette!) this resort does have an overbooking policy but don't let this put you off as it generally means you get all sorts of upgrades. We were offered the chance to stay on a sailboat for 2 nights and after a bit of deliberation we decided to go for it and I am glad we did! We met 4 other couples and we really had a blast they were truly lovely they made the 2 nights full of fun and laughter. The food on this trip was out of this world, the crew amazing - Ahmed our guide was a star! - and the snorkelling out of this world. We even got a barbecue on the beach with some dancing chucked in for fun we were all impressed with one of the Crew who's Dad Dance had us in stitches! if you get the offer to go grab it! Once back at the island we were all upgraded to water villas which we were very excited about and they were impressive. All in all this was an amazing break for us and we met some great people we cannot wait to go back.

My brother & his wife highly recommended the Maldives to me. I accompanied them on their second trip to Meeru. I thought I was prepared, but I was SO wrong. Meeru was Heaven on Earth! It must be very similar to the Garden of Eden. The staff is so much more than hospitable...They are genuine folks who obviously enjoy their work and who welcome visitors with open hearts. The accomodations were SUPERIOR! The food, the drinks...OUTSTANDING! Top notch! I highly recommend the spa! The massages are top-quality, professional, unlike any other. Guests have the option of choosing a "child-friendly" end of the island...or an "adult" end. What amazed me most, aside from the WONDERFUL staff, was the QUIET! Despite being filled to capacity, the island was QUIET, ALL THE TIME! I spent 11 nights in Paradise and cannot wait to return. I have lived in, seen and enjoyed many great places around the world...but Meeru is in a class all by itself! As an aside, I have no explanation for it; two days after my arrival...my Psoriasis, arthritis and spinal pain disappeared! Three days after returning home, the symptoms attacked me once again. When I have the chance to repeat my trip...I would change nothing! My brother/his wife had a beach bungalow...I had an inland bungalow...Both were beyond reproach!! Wait for me, Meeru...you are the place of poetry, love, dreams!!!!!

We have been home 3weeks now following our amazing two week honeymoon in Meeru and can honestly say I would return tomorrow, I honestly could have cried on departure. Everything about our stay was fabulous from the island itself, sun set was beautiful food was fabulous especially Asian wok which we visited twice during our stay. The staff were fantastic very hard working polite and made sure our honeymoon was special. The Island truly is paradise, we went on a two day cruise on arrival this too was fantastic and definitely worth going on this was free as the hotel do tend to over book though we were happy to go on this and were up graded on return. On the boat trip we went snorkelling visited different islands, went fishing had barbaque on the beach food was great. Overal everything about this holiday was an amazing experience and at a chance would do it all over again could fault any part, we stayed in a jacuzzi beach villa which was lovely very modern and clean , don't know how anyone could fault this island! During our stay we visited the spa loved this experience though expensive.
