Mountain Splendour is a family operated resort situated on an 80 hectare farm directly facing the towering peaks of Champagne Castle, Cathkin Peak and Sterkhorn which are located in Monks Cowl Reserve which is part of the Okahlamba World Heritage Park. Mountain Splendour also situated between two golf courses namely the Champagne Sports Resort and the family orientated Monks Cowl Country Club.
We were recently awarded a 4-star grading by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa which is considered 'Excellent'. Currently, there are only five 5-star or 'Exceptional' camping/caravan resorts in South Africa and we are certainly striving to be accredited into that elite category!
