Neptune and Jay Bay Resort is situated on the main Barra Beach +- 27 km from the town of Inhambane and offers the following type of accommodation:
4 Sleeper chalets, fully self catering, build with brick and wood, 1 bedroom with en-suite bathroom and 2 x single beds in the living area.
6 Sleeper chalets, fully self catering , build with brick but mainly with local material, 2 bedrooms and 2 x single beds in the living area. 1 x Bathroom per chalet.
8 Sleeper chalets, fully self catering build with brick, 3 bedrooms and 2 x single beds in the living area. 2 x Bathrooms per chalet.
All accommodation has fans, mosquito nets, bedding but no towels and is serviced daily. All accommodation has a full to a partial sea view about 150/200m from the beach.
Makolobay 'Neptune' Beach Bar and Restaurant literally sits on the beach with big class windows and a big shaded outside area where you can forget yourself in the view. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner at reasonable prices together with a well stocked bar.
Diving can either be done at Palm Grove Resort with African Adventures or @ the Neptune Beach Bar with Barra Reef Divers - (Not currently operational, closed by Maritime of Inhambane)
