Itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg
Touch down at Johannesburg International where you'll be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure in this fast-paced city, South Africa's financial heart. Accommodation: Rosebank Hotel or similar

Day 2: Mpumalanga / Kruger National Park (BD)
After an early breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel at 06h30 and whisked off to the world famous Kruger National Park via Belfast, Nelspruit and Hazyview, where your safari begins as you board open safari vehicles. Game sightings abound virtually from the moment you enter this extraordinary reserve. Enjoy your first night in this unique patch of African wilderness. Accomodation: Kruger Rest Camp or similar

Day 3: Kruger National Park (BD)
With an entire day in Kruger ahead, you can adapt your behaviour to that of the animals: set off on a dawn safari, retire to the camp for a soothing midday siesta, and then enjoy a late afternoon game drive. Accommodation: Kruger Rest Camp or similar

Day 4: Kruger National Park / Johannesburg (B)
There's time to savour another sunrise safari then tuck into a hearty breakfast before returning to camp around mid morning. We leave the reserve and travel back to Johannesburg, arriving at about 19h00. Accommodation: Rosebank Hotel or similar

Day 5: Cape Town (B)
It's off to Cape Town this morning (onward flight not included). On arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring the joys of the Mother City. A perfect opportunity to visit the VA Waterfront. Accommodation: Protea Hotel President or similar

Day 6: Cape of Good Hope (B)
Enjoy a full day's sightseeing in the world's hottest tourist destination. Much of our journey is along the achingly beautiful coastline, with majestic views of mountain and ocean. We visit Cape Point, one of the best spots in Cape Town for spotting whales and dolphins. On our return to the city we drive through the quaint naval village of Simon's Town.Accommodation: Protea Hotel President or similar

Day 7: Cape Winelands (B)
We tour the Cape's famous wine making country, visiting two well known estates for wine tastings.Accommodation: Protea Hotel President or similar

Day 8: Departure (B)
Spend the day at leisure until your transfer to the airport. 7 Nights / 8 Days

This tour can be run in reverse, to start in Cape Town ending in Johannesburg. The internal flight between Johannesburg and Cape Town, on day 5, is not included and can be booked at any time suitable to the client. We can assist you with optaining these flights. Dependant on the day of departure, the Cape Peninsula and Winelands Tour may be swapped around to fit scheduled dates of departure.
