Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Johannesburg (LD)
On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, you are met and transferred to the Waterberg or Welgevonden area. If you have selected the Bongani option, you arrive at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, and are transferred to Bongani Mountain Reserve, in the Mthethomusha Reserve, bordering the Kruger Park.
Day 2: Waterberg / Welgevonden / Bongani (BLD)
Experienced rangers will take you into the bush on dawn and dusk safaris. Waterberg / Welgevonden is home to many species of game, including the 'Big Five' with some 50 white rhino as well as 16 species of antelope. Over 250 species of bird have been identified on the reserve ensuring the avid bird-watcher plenty to spot. Guests at Bongani enjoy one game drive per day in open 4x4 safari vehicles, guided bush walks and visits to local communities. Optional additional game activities are available at the lodge, for your own account.
Day 3: Depart back to Johannesburg (B)
After your last early morning game drive, transfer from the Waterberg or Welgevonden area back to Johannesburg International Airport for your onward journey. For the Bongani option, you are transferred back to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your onward flight.
