Game viewing
Two game drives in open vehicles include coffee, tea and snacks in the morning while a romantic sundowner interrupts the night drives. Game viewing at Tangala is of high standard and compare with the best in the world. Guests can expect to see lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and other general game on game drives. As well as exciting bird watching.
Wildlife activities here enable guests to 'touch, taste and smell' Africa. Your day begins with a game drive of approximately four hours, accompanied by a qualified ranger and tracker. Guests not only get close to Big Game but also learn to identify birds and trees, taste edible fruit, follow in the footsteps of animals great and small and learn about local bush lore.
Become one with the bush as you track silently after the spoor of wildlife during game drives. The night game viewing is an experience of its own. Nocturnal sightings might include bush babies, the elusive genet, or predators hunting and stalking their prey.
Lanterns welcome you back and guide you along the pathways to the bush boma for an African feast under the southern stars. ON THE WEEKEND OF MARCH 11 MY FAMILY SPENT 2 NIGHTS AT TANGALA. I JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW HOW MUCH WE ENJOYED OUR VISIT! JIMMY AND LISIL(SP?) WERE WONDERFUL HOSTS. TANGALA IS THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR AFRICAN EXPERIENCE AND I FULLY INTEND TO COME BACK WITH OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS. JIMMY WAS SO FULL OF INFORMATION AND MADE THE GAMES DRIVES TRULY WONDERFUL. HE AND BENNETT WERE ABLE TO FIND ANIMALS FOR US TO SEE USING THEIR AMAZING TRACKING ABILITIES. THE FOOD WAS ABOSOLUTELY EXCELLENT AND LISIL WAS A DELIGHT TO BE AROUND.
